On its fourth day at the box office, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff struggled to maintain momentum, falling behind “OMG 2.” Despite promotional efforts like the BOGO (Buy One Get One) push, the film failed to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark in collections.

Following a significant drop on its second day, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s recent release, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” has regained momentum at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film garnered Rs 9 crore in domestic earnings on Sunday, reaching a total of Rs 40.75 crore.

The film, made with an estimated budget of Rs 350 crore, also introduced a buy-one-get-one offer on Sunday. “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” has accumulated Rs 95.18 crore globally. It premiered at the box office on Thursday during Eid, earning Rs 15.65 crore on its opening day. However, it experienced a setback on the following day, with a 51 percent decline in earnings, collecting Rs 7.6 crore on Friday. Despite a slight increase over the weekend, the film’s earnings remained in the single-digit range, with Rs 8.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 9 crore on Sunday.

For both Akshay and Tiger, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” is significant as they aim to break the streak of unsuccessful films. Akshay, who faced disappointments with films like “Samrat Prithviraj,” “Raksha Bandhan,” and “Cuttputlli,” found success with “OMG 2.” However, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” has yet to surpass or equal the box office performance of “OMG 2,” which earned Rs 55.17 crore within the same timeframe.

In the box office race against Ajay Devgan’s “Maidaan,” “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” has emerged as the frontrunner in terms of earnings. “Maidaan” has garnered just Rs 21.85 crore in the first four days of its release, trailing behind its counterpart.

Directed by renowned filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” boasts a stellar ensemble cast comprising Alaya F, Manushi Chillar, Ronit Roy, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
