Dell is gearing up to unveil its new laptops, the Dell XPS 13 9345 and Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus, possibly equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Series processors. Leaked images suggest these laptops will include a specific key to activate Microsoft’s Copilot chatbot and integrate AI functionalities. These upcoming models are expected to support Microsoft’s forthcoming Windows AI Explorer and are anticipated to hit the market in the latter half of 2024.

On Friday, Windows Report shared images of two upcoming laptops: the Dell XPS 13 9345 and Inspiron 14 7441 Plus. These laptops resemble Dell’s earlier XPS and Inspiron models but are distinguished by their use of a Snapdragon X Elite chip instead of traditional AMD or Intel processors, as per the report.

The leaked images of the Dell XPS 13 9345 display the laptop from different perspectives, showcasing an OLED screen with minimal bezels and a specific Copilot button. Additionally, the laptop includes a touch bar containing escape, delete, and function keys. Similar to the Dell XPS 13 Plus unveiled at CES 2022, the keyboard’s left and right sides extend to the chassis edges.

The leaked images of the Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus depict a design reminiscent of Dell’s recent Inspiron laptop lineup, featuring rounded edges. These images also indicate the inclusion of a dedicated Copilot key, along with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button on the keyboard. Moreover, the Inspiron 14 7441 Plus is depicted with a generously sized trackpad.

Regarding connectivity, reports suggest that the Dell XPS 13 9345 will come with two USB Type-C ports. In comparison, the Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus is depicted with two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, and a microSD card slot. The leaked images reveal a borderless trackpad on the XPS 13 9345, while the pictures of the Inspiron 14 7441 Plus indicate the inclusion of a Windows Hello compatible webcam along with other yet-to-be-specified sensors.

Although Dell has not officially confirmed the release of new XPS and Inspiron laptops featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite chips, reports suggest that the XPS 9345 and Inspiron 14 7441 Plus may be launched in August or September. Pricing details for these laptops have not been disclosed yet, but we anticipate that such information, along with other product specifications, will gradually emerge online as the launch date approaches.
