Shambhavi Choudhary, hailing from Bihar, is the daughter of Ashok Choudhary, a minister in the Nitish Kumar cabinet. Emerging as a notable figure in her own right, she secured victory from the Samastipur constituency. In a comfortable win, she defeated her closest opponent, Sunny Hazari of the Congress. Notably, Sunny Hazari is the son of JD(U) minister Maheshwar Hazari.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi previously commended Shambhavi during a campaign rally, recognizing her as the youngest candidate representing the NDA. This victory marks a significant milestone in her political journey and underscores her growing influence within the political landscape of Bihar.
Sanjana Jatav
Sanjana Jatav emerged victorious from the Bharatpur constituency in Rajasthan, securing a significant win at the age of 25. In a closely contested battle, she defeated BJP’s Ramswaroop Koli by an impressive margin of 51,983 votes.
Prior to her success in the Lok Sabha elections, Sanjana had contested the 2023 Assembly elections, where she narrowly lost to BJP’s Ramesh Khedi by a slim margin of just 409 votes. Notably, she is married to Kaptan Singh, who serves as a constable in the Rajasthan police force.
Sanjana’s triumph in the Lok Sabha polls underscores her resilience and determination in the political arena, despite facing setbacks in the past. Her victory marks a significant milestone in her political career and highlights her growing influence in Rajasthan’s political landscape.
Pushpendra Saroj
Pushpendra Saroj, a candidate from the Samajwadi Party (SP), secured a notable victory in the Kaushambi parliamentary seat, a constituency previously held by the BJP. He achieved a decisive win by defeating the incumbent BJP MP, Vinod Kumar Sonkar, with a substantial margin of 103,944 votes.
Pushpendra’s political lineage adds to his profile, as he is the son of Inderjit Saroj, a seasoned politician who has served as a five-time MLA and a former Minister in Uttar Pradesh. This victory not only represents a significant shift in the political dynamics of Kaushambi but also highlights Pushpendra’s ability to continue his family’s political legacy and establish his own standing in the political arena. His triumph reflects the voters’ desire for change and their confidence in his leadership.
Priya Saroj
Priya Saroj achieved victory in the Machhlishahr constituency, defeating the incumbent BJP MP Bholanath by a margin of 35,850 votes. This win marks a significant political milestone for Priya, who follows in the footsteps of her father, Toofani Saroj, a distinguished politician who has served as an MP three times.
Priya’s success not only represents a change in leadership for the Machhlishahr seat but also underscores her capability to uphold and extend her family’s political influence. Her victory reflects her dedication and the trust placed in her by the electorate, further solidifying her position within the Samajwadi Party and the broader political landscape.
