Rolls-Royce, the renowned British luxury carmaker, has introduced an updated version of its Cullinan SUV, now named the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II. Featuring a range of enhancements both externally and internally, the refreshed Cullinan Series II sets out to redefine the benchmarks for super-luxury SUVs. As orders open for the Cullinan Series II, prospective buyers can expect a premium over the previous model’s price, indicative of the SUV’s unmatched craftsmanship and state-of-the-art features. The outgoing model starts at ₹6.95 crore (ex-showroom), excluding additional options.
The exterior of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II has undergone significant updates, featuring unique design elements. This includes redesigned headlights with LED daytime running lights that flow downward, alongside an illuminated pantheon grille and a refined front bumper with streamlined air intakes. Rolls Royce stated that the bumper’s lines, inspired by contemporary sports yachts, create a subtle ‘V’ shape, injecting a sense of dynamism into the SUV’s profile.
The Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II features an updated exterior design marked by unique styling elements. This version presents redesigned headlights that include LED daytime running lights flowing downward, accompanied by an illuminated pantheon grille. Additionally, it boasts a refined front bumper with streamlined air intakes.
Within the cabin, the Cullinan Series II maintains its opulent atmosphere while introducing significant enhancements to elevate the driving experience. The dashboard is adorned with a glass-panel fascia stretching from one pillar to the other, aimed at enhancing the feeling of spaciousness. Additionally, the front passenger is welcomed by an illuminated dash panel displaying a cityscape graphic reminiscent of nighttime skylines. The dual-screen configuration, housing digital instrument displays and an infotainment system, now incorporates Rolls-Royce’s innovative Spirit operating system. This system enables customization of instrument dial colors to harmonize with the vehicle’s exterior or interior theme.
The Series II also debuts the Whispers app, an exclusive platform designed for Rolls-Royce clientele, facilitating remote vehicle management and seamless integration of navigation destinations. Rear-seat passengers enjoy dedicated screens for content streaming and personalized comfort settings, along with the option to connect Bluetooth headphones for independent streaming via Wi-Fi connectivity. Upholstery choices for the Cullinan Series II include the luxurious Duality Twill fabric made from bamboo, offering a combination of sustainability and opulence.
Under the hood, the Cullinan Series II maintains its powerful 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering thrilling performance with nearly 600 bhp and 900 Nm of torque, particularly impressive in the Black Badge variant. Notably, Rolls-Royce disclosed that a significant portion of Cullinan owners worldwide prefer to personally drive the SUV themselves.
