Lucknow Super Giants secured a vital 33-run win against Gujarat Titans in their recent IPL 2024 clash, held in Lucknow on Sunday. Offering reassurance to concerned fans, Krunal Pandya confirmed after the match that Yadav’s injury wasn’t severe and he is expected to return for future matches. Speaking post-match, Pandya stated, “I’m not entirely sure about Mayank Yadav’s condition, but I had a brief chat with him. Based on that, I believe he should be fit for the upcoming matches. This is encouraging news for us. Mayank showed promising form in the nets and the previous season before being sidelined due to injury. From what I’ve observed and discussed with him, he has a strong mentality. I’m eager to see his progression in his career.

The first innings witnessed a commendable half-century by Marcus Stoinis, who scored 58 runs, helping LSG reach a total of 163/5 in 20 overs. Darshan Nalkande and Umesh Yadav managed to take two wickets each for GT.
