Salim Khan Breaks Silence and Assures Public: Firing Incident at Salman Khan’s Home Under Control, No Cause for Panic!”
Gunshots rang out near the residence of Bollywood icon Salman Khan in Mumbai in the early hours of Sunday, April 14. Responding to the unsettling incident, Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, reassured the public, indicating that there was no cause for alarm and dismissing the event as a mere bid for attention.
Gunfire at Salman Khan Galaxy Apartments
According to reports from reliable news agencies, the gunfire erupted outside Salman Khan’s abode, Galaxy Apartments. Two individuals riding a motorcycle were said to have discharged three shots into the air before making a swift getaway. In the aftermath, security measures around Salman Khan’s residence have been significantly bolstered, and law enforcement authorities have launched an investigation, registering a case against the unidentified perpetrators.
Police sources divulged that a 7.62 weapon was employed in the shooting and indicated that the assailants likely hailed from outside Maharashtra. Mumbai Police are actively pursuing leads, poring over CCTV footage in their quest to bring the culprits to justice, with suspicions lingering that the shooters may have absconded beyond the city limits, possibly towards the Western Express Highway.
This disconcerting episode is not the first instance of threats to Salman Khan’s safety. Just last year, he was targeted by a death threat from Canadian fugitive gangster Goldy Brar, who openly declared the Bollywood luminary as a prime target. Mumbai Police had previously filed an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, along with another individual, following an email threatening Salman Khan at his Mumbai residence.
Salman Khan recently made a public appearance on Eid, warmly greeting throngs of fans congregated outside his residence. Concurrently, he took the opportunity to unveil his forthcoming cinematic venture, “Sikander,” in collaboration with esteemed director AR Murugadoss, slated for release next Eid.
